New Zealand should legalise Marijuana

Cannabis's scientific name is Marijuana and was first named by Mexicans, there are several other nicknames for Marijuana, for example: weed, pot, hash, hemp...etc. Everyone knows Marijuana is classified as an "illegal drugs", but marijuana was legalised in some countries, such as in Netherlands. Legalization of marijuana has always been one of the biggest debates throughout the world. New Zealand's Green party is always trying to legalise marijuana in medicinal use, but New Zealand government think legalise marijuana is too dangerous and destructive to the individual, so it still can not be legalise so far. I really think New Zealand should legalise marijuana, but with some regulations, like cigarette age regulate, or must with a doctor prescription. Recently Indonesian Vice President Jusuf Kalla who opposed that marijuana should be legalise and doesnt mind marijuana to be used in cooking, Indonesian Vice President Jusuf Kalla said marijuana shouldnt be fully legalised, but its ok to use it as food seasoning. Marijuana seeds can give them a very distinctive local flavour in Aceh and Los Angeles even invented the marijuana vending machines, those vending machines are only for those patients who cannot control their pain or nausea with other prescription drugs, but these vending machines are inside highly secure room which guarded 24 hours and seven days per week, and you need doctor's prescription to purchase it. Now in America the use of marijuana in medicinal use is allowed in 11 US states( First marijuana vending machine, 2008). According last year October's news the state's governor Arnold Schwarzenegger also said that "marijuana is not a drug, it's a leaf" In an interview with GQ magazine although its sounds a bit ridiculous, but it also tells us marijuana is not that harmful as people think. There are too many reasons that support to legalise marijuana, but on the other hand abusing marijuana will also harms human body, will caused memory loss, decrease in muscle strength, increase heart rate, trouble with thinking and problem solving. Marijuana also contains over 400 chemcials, including most of the harmful substances found in tobacco smoke. Smoking one marijuana cigarette deposits about four times more tar into the lungs than a filtered tobacco cigarette. Everything have 2 side of it, there is no absolute right or wrong, so I think New Zealand should legalise marijuana, but must with strong regulation to control it.
What is your thought about legalise marijuana in New Zealand, please leave a comment :)

Hey, tamashi hi
What an interesting topic you've got here! Well, i don't really know what to comment but in my opinion, like you said on your blog, Marijuana needs to be legalised in NZ for the use in hospitals or something but for the public. It would cause a real serious problem if anyone was able to purchase and overuse it. I think you've already got everything that i wanted to say :) so i totally agree with you
and thanks for your comment on my blog. will be looking forward to seeing more from yours, see ya
